Clothing Correspondence was a one month residency in which Bronwen visibly mended garments for visitors in exchange for a conversation.
Clothing Correspondence explores the potential of textiles as containers of stories. The simple act of repairing clothing aims to initiate conversations around care, value, productivity, and the stories and bodily traces held in textile. Caring for clothing acts as a metaphor for rethinking how we care for our bodies, relationships, and communities.
